Pamela Pilawa first set foot on stage at the age of 12 at the Kantonsschule Zug (CH) theatre, where she performed in the play «Romeo and Juliet». It was there that her passion for theater sparked, a passion that still haunts her today.
The young Swiss actress currently resides in Sydney, Australia, where she creates plays at Marian Street Theater for Young People (MSTYP). She previously lived in Madrid for 8 years, where in 2019 she graduated in Performing Arts at the TAI University Arts Center in Madrid (ES). In her still short career, she has already acted in 15 plays , both in Spain, Brazil and Canada. Among them are the works produced by Face 2 Face Theater Company, …Y cantó la Gorda, which premiered in October 2021 at the Surge Festival, Las Galas del Difunto, under the direction of Juan Ollero and three original productions of her own: Tchocolatl and Qué-sería? under Payasa Pa Viajera, as well as her latest work, Restricted Access.
In the audiovisual field, she has participated in numerous short films and commercials. She has worked with directors such as Nick Ball, Hugo Blick, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, and Gabriel Olivares. In film, her best-known work is the role of Frau Brubacher in Hugo Blick’s English series «The English» (2022), produced by the BBC.
In addition, in 2019, she worked as an assistant director for a Mundo Quinta project for The Cross Border Project , and in the summer of 2022, she trained in Commedia dell Arte in Ferrara (IT), under the direction of Fabio Mangolini.
In August 2024, Pamela Pilawa presented her work at Festival Vecindario in León, Spain, captivating audiences with her unique blend of humor and artistry. Following this, in October 2024, she premiered her latest work, Restricted Access , at the Sydney Fringe Festival. She is currently continuing to promote her work as a clown and theater teacher, offering Clown and Comedy workshops and performing her shows in various settings.
