Frequently Asked Questions
What age groups are your workshops suitable for?
I offer highly adaptable sessions tailored to the specific developmental stage of the group. This includes Primary School (K-6) sessions focused on play and confidence, High School & University masterclasses diving deep into Physical Theatre and Clowning techniques, and Adult/Professional sessions focused on teamwork and communication.
How do these workshops align with the Creative Arts curriculum?
My workshops are designed to hit core syllabus outcomes in Drama and PDHPE. We focus on movement, improvisation, collaborative performance, and emotional intelligence. To make things easier for educators, I provide a comprehensive Teacher Resource Pack with every booking to help you integrate the workshop themes back into your classroom lessons.
My students are quite shy—will they be forced to perform?
Not at all. My methodology is built on ‘Safe Play.’ We start with low-stakes group games that build trust organically before moving into individual expression. As a clown, my goal is to meet every student where they are—turning ‘nerves’ into curiosity and helping even the most reserved students find their own unique way to participate.
What do we need to provide in terms of space and equipment?
I aim to make the process as stress-free as possible for you. All I need is a clear, flat space—a school hall, drama studio, or large classroom is perfect. I bring all the necessary props and materials. As long as the students have room to move safely in a circle, we have everything we need for a great session!
Do you travel to regional schools and organisations?
Yes! While I am based in Sydney, I am an international tourer at heart. I regularly visit regional NSW and interstate for festivals and school residencies. If you are a regional school, feel free to ask about my ‘Multi-Day’ or ‘Cluster’ rates, which are a great way to share travel costs with neighbouring schools in your area.
